Project Judging
  • There are two levels of judging:
    1. Display judging - 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th grade students' work will be judged against the standards outlined on the 2012 judging score sheet which will be given to the School Science Fair Coordinators. Students are encouraged to review these forms before beginning work on their projects. Medals and rosettes and ribbons will be awarded to 4th and 5th grade students based on these scores.
    2. Interviews - 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be interviewed by a second group of judges. Medals will be awarded based on the total of the interview judges' scores (1/2) and the display judges' scores (1/2).
  • 9th-12th grade students will be interviewed when they set up projects on Thursday, March 15. All high school projects are included in one judging category.
  • Projects that do not meet "Basic Requirements" will not be eligible for medals.
  • Judges' comments will be available for students to pick up on Friday, March 16.
