Cheerleading has never been a competitive sport in the Humboldt Del Norte League. At least no records have been found indicating any competitions. The format of the Cheerleading program has changed over time. In the 1960's School's had Cheerleaders that were both male and female and a group called Song Queens. I do not know when that format changed to the present day format. Several of our Cheerleaders have gone on to special recognition during summer camp and special events.
