The Earth Sciences--Dinosaur
and Fossil Unit--is an example of integrating the curriculum.
After weeks of in-class work (reading, writing, math and
art activities) the students explored the Scotia Bluffs
to find fossils. They discovered that the ocean once existed
where they were exploring.
